With more than 10 years in developing multi-platform applications and web-based solutions for various firms (Including holding a position as a lead programmer and administrator), Mr. Slavickas has been instrumental in taking Gurix products and services to a higher level while maintaining a solid focus on business strategy and project management.

His extensive knowledge in managing and directing complex system design and development has given Gurix the opportunity to stride forward in the IT industry. He has also transformed the company's standards and products into expandable, portable, and cost-effective solutions.

By creating many levels of abstraction between component operation and user navigation, Paul has effectively created systems that allow the end user to navigate complex systems and perform daunting tasks with ease.

Paul studied and acquired an extensive array of valuable skills while completing an honours Computer Science degree at a Canadian University. While there, Paul has researched and developed effective solutions for parallel processing, intricate low-level applications, and both automated and intelligent systems.

Mario Affonso is a Gurix co-founder, visionary, and open-source advocate. Mario has initiated several of the firm's open-source and technological undertakings, aimed at making open-source technologies a reality in the enterprise.

Mario comes equipped with a vast knowledge of alternative open solutions for today's business environment. Mr. Affonso brings a much needed "look outside of the box" attitude to Gurix, which allows for the very best in solutions and technologies.

With experience in technical support, consultation, web development, graphic design and systems administration, Mario assists in several areas of the firms development.

Highly immersed in political and social issues, Mario uses his knowledge of computer systems to help the community. Mario currently runs a free hosting service for under funded projects and is actively working towards starting a community based peer to peer training program directed at assisting the elderly with computer and technical issues.

Rafael Fontan is the CIO of Gurix Web Professionals.

Mr. Fontan possesses more than 8 years experience in the development and maintenance of computer networks/servers, systems architecture design and application implementation and research.

His extensive knowledge in managing and directing complex system and network design and development has proved to be a vital component in giving Gurix the opportunity to advance forward in the IT industry. Rafael has also successfully improved the company's standards and products allowing them to transform into expandable, portable, competitive, and cost-effective solutions.

With a background in system integration, Rafael has been able to combine the power of today's technology into products that are not only easy for a beginner to use and operate, but have the feature set and power for advanced users to utilize as well.

Rafael graduated with honours and holds a multitude of degrees and awards for his ongoing achievements in technology and business development. Included in his long list of merits are a degree for advanced electronics (including AC/DC, Digital and Analog systems), a degree in telecommunications (including both communication and bandwidth usage), and an Associate in Specialized Technology for Personal Computers and Network Technology.
